Toyota Forklift 3p Engine

hey hey,

 

Today at dads work i was hooning around on a toyota forklift and then it popped in my head what motor is chuging this rapid road rocket around, So i popped open the engine cover and hey what do ya know a 3P, then i thought wtf is a 3P.

 

So i know its a 1200cc engine, Still pushrod but does anybody know the torque, power and any info would be nice.

 

It has a 2 speed manual and can pull around 1.5tonne with ease, Does nice chirpies aswell.

 

I did a search and found it was a 1200cc but thats all i found.

i know that all dads forks have nissan 50k's but his toyota had a 3y and did that pull the chirpys

;) Ok the little bit of info i found said 1.2 but anywho, Id say its a import motor cause the forklift has shit loads of jap writing on it ?

My last little bit of info for the night is:

Apparently the 3P was in some Corona's and Toyoaces. Don't ask me in what country, because all i found was a brief spec sheet.

This 3p sounds like a 18r-c with a 2.5 inch exhaust. Loud and it only has a pee shooter ;) .

 

 

Maybe a fully worked 5k in the forklift mmmm i can feel some one rolling it if that happend.
