Nitephyre
atm it's just white with black around the windows, and lower sills etc... looks good as is... but it also needs a fair bit of rust repair :KY: i -would- like to respray it in the new BA falcon blue (the nice one) but hey... thats money i don't have
Redwarf
No problem with the manifold, just give me a call to see if I'm in. The reason the old guy wasn't in is because he's in Tasmania co-driving for Ed Ordynski in the Tassie ARC round. As one does. They're both very good. If in doubt, I have spare manifolds.... Nitephyre
alright, I'm dragging my topic back from the dead... i WAS going to be just getting my engine rebuilt to be just a nice simple mild cam etc, but since nick is selling his efi, and i'm pretty much of the mindset of buying it... probably after my 2 week holidays... i'm also almost decided on supercharging it while I'm at it... mainly cause i can, and i think a 4KZE'd ke70 panelvan would be sweet, and one of a kind(a) :laff: SO... how hard will it be for me to supercharge it, I'm most likely going to use the SC12, since ive been told the SC14 is too big for a K engine... also, whether to use top or front mount intercooler, or to use a water to air setup (i know of one that seems to be going cheap) constructive input would be much appreciated :laff: :| :)
irokin
don't use a top mount...go front... If your really looking for a sleeper look go the water/air Might want to think about using a 4A-GE throttle body and 100kw injectors (injectors will need a slight rewiring)
Nitephyre
is water/air as efficient as front mount.... if so, thats what i'll use.. I'm not really a big fan of "OH LOOK AT ME MR.THEIVES AND MR. PLOD, I'VE GOT FORCED INDUCTION" just an opinion... :| sleeper > * :)
JapTastic
If you were looking at water-air, I'd suggest using an RS Liberty unit. Nice enough size, and if you can, grab the pumps and whatnot too. Falcon airconditioning cores make good heat exchangers too, and take up hardly any room in front of the radiator. Nitephyre
funnily enough, thats the exact car that the one ive been told of is coming off :| so u need a heat exchanger on the water/air too?
