Well...I'm looking at getting a tachometer to put in my 1991 Nova (rebadged corolla here in australia) and i was just wondering how do u wire them up....most of the time u just attach a wire to the -ive side of the ignition coil....but i can't see one in the engine bay...any help is greatly appreciated....

If it has a factory tacho dash you can splice into the factory tach wire on the back of the dash, So is yours the chevy nova?, like to see pics if it is as i have only seen the AE82 style chevy nova.

It should have a blueish coloured wire with a round plug on the end of it, It comes out of the distributor.

it sounded like he has a '91 nova here in australia. the only holden nova i've seen is in the ae92 corolla shape. holden and chevy are both GM brands which is why they both rebadged the corolla for their own markets.

Well MOST people say they have a AE92 corolla/nova, And saying rebadged here in australia sounds alot like saying "imported as this, sold as this" yes it probably is the holden nova, But are you the owner to answer the question?
