hey all just wanting to know what you can put in a street ke70 in qld can i go SR20det OR CA18det what do i have to do and to the brakes and has any one done any thing about engine mounts ?????

there are a number of people, who have gone sr in this forum search and read and ask questions, lol and id wanna believe youd upgrade your brakes if ur putting that sorta power to your wheels..

depends what you want your car to be used for aswell

Talking to an engineer would be a REALLY GOOD MOVE about now if you're serious about either of these conversions.

 

The fact is, if you go to an engineer after you've done work and say, "well I read on the internet that I could do it", it's not going to cut it.

It is legal at present.

 

The rules are changing very soon.

 

Personally i would put it on hold until the changes come through, unless youre gonna be done in 2 weeks.
