demuire Posted August 8, 2004 Report Posted August 8, 2004 There was a KE35 at the motorkhana at South Port yesterday, it wasn't competing, but it was WAAAAY too cool to miss... When Hal grows up it wants to be like this one  And more photos I didn't catch all the specs (I think Rob might know more), but off the top of my head it has a worked 2TG (bored out to 2L), Wilwood pedal box, Wilwood 4-pot calipers on the front, Gemini 2-pot calipers on the rear, Wilwood brake bias dial, Mazda diff with detroit locker, Sparco seats, very comprehensive rollcage... I really like his spare wheel arrangement and I'd actually like to copy it in Hal. He has a battery-operated rattle gun and he recons with the current arrangement he can get out of the car, change a wheel and get back in the car in under 2 minutes... WOW. All in all, a very very awesome car :S Quote
Felix Posted August 8, 2004 Report Posted August 8, 2004 that's cool. although i think yours looks better, especially if you developed it to the same standard. Quote
demuire Posted August 9, 2004 Author Report Posted August 9, 2004 Oh yeah, it's also got a Holinger gearbox  Quote
Super Jamie Posted August 9, 2004 Report Posted August 9, 2004 yeah, fook's looks better, that's the first thing i thought too. i would think a slighty rough (primer spots etc) car with an illegal rollcage would get pulled over alot more than fook's car with the same cage. the engine bay is pretty  i wonder if that catch can actually works hollinger box, aren't they worth like 10 grand? demuire Posted August 9, 2004 Author Report Posted August 9, 2004 It's a rally car. Mine isn't. Plus that isn't the final paintjob, it's the base coat  Quote
pro_ke Posted August 9, 2004 Report Posted August 9, 2004 fooks looks better i agree but yeah its a rally car so you have to expect its not goign to look all that flash  Quote
Super Jamie Posted August 9, 2004 Report Posted August 9, 2004 bullshit  gearbox, rollcage, spare wheel setup. i don't really see any other differences other than cosmetic and engine class Quote
pro_ke Posted August 9, 2004 Report Posted August 9, 2004 fook has a better looking body does he work out? Quote
demuire Posted August 9, 2004 Author Report Posted August 9, 2004 Jamie: You must be a little blind then  Quote

Super Jamie Posted August 9, 2004 Report Posted August 9, 2004 i like yours better  the ae35 will end up being a better car anyway, rome wasn't built in a day Quote
demuire Posted August 9, 2004 Author Report Posted August 9, 2004 Heh, I like the way mine looks more too, but there's so much more fun in that car  Plus he gets to go and play on dirt rallies, I can't :S Quote
