Hey, i was just wondering if it is possible in any way to lower the front seats. i'm 6"4" tall when i purchased the car i was as tall. Does anyone know if it can be done? Are mechanics able to do it?

Not with out an engineering certificate, if at all. What state are you in?

i'm in queensland. Gees i thought it would be easier than that. how do i get an engineering certificate.

Find a Authorised engineer to either do the job and mod plate or just mod plate it if its done correctly.

would u have any idea of what it would cost and is it worth doing

I was charged $60 per hour to get stuff done for my Ke70 + material.

The other way you can address this problem it to go see a motor trimmer and have a chat.

We do this on occasion at work, either by modifying the runners to get them lower or by modifying the foam in the seat to take some hieght out of it.

 

Either way its still a big job, well, not really big just a pain in the arse.

If you have an ae71 i suggest putting in a ra40 seat. It will drop you a fair bit lower than the standard one, other than that, I'm no help.
