Great Piccies Ben! But there is one car missing from that photo at Victor!!!

Ok so for those of you who didn't come - here's the story...

I went on the cruise with my mate Haydo in his KE30, and all was going well when his Rolla decided to take a sicky and park itself on the main Victor Harbour Highway - bout 15 mins on the Adelaide side of Victor.

The car just stalled, going up the hill and it just died - lost all power.

We sat on the side of the highway looking at it and trying figure out why it wouldn't start for about half to 3/4 of an hour and then pushed it onto a side road (so we didn't have cars going past a metre away at 110). While we were on the main highway, about 50 metres up from us the cops pulled over a F350 for speeding, and they didn't even come and ask if we needed any help??!!

Anyway once I discovered the only place I could get phone reception was about 500 metres away on the top of a very steep sheep paddock, I rang Ben (nawty4) and told him what was goin on and where we were stuck.

Ben said that they were all leaving Victor soon (this was around 2-2:30 in the avo) and would stop to lend a hand on their way home.

Once Ben and some of the others arrived, Ben called the RAA and it wasn't long before they came out to fix the problem. It turned out that it was crook points.. Somehow they'd broken, so RAA replaced them and we were off on the road.. a little slow but in the end we got home!!

A HUGE Thanks to Ben for helping out with the RAA and everything!! - and a HUGE thanks to Lesley who gave us an escort back to Mt Barker! You were awesome girl!

So from Haydo and myself, Thanks to everyone who helped out.. that showed true club spirit and being there for each other is what it's all about! It was an awesome day and even though we had an adventure of our own, I can definately say that the SA Rollaclub is an awesome club and everyone was friendly and it was great to catch up with you all!!

Next time I will have my 55 on the cruise!! Can't wait for it!

KJ
