  1. Still got my KE50/55 liftback (FROGGY) And still got a KE10/KE11 projects in the shed!! Keen for a meet yes :-)
  2. So who's going to Bay to Birdwood this year?
  3. 67Rolla-Ken, fancy a drive across the Nullabour.. bring your car to All Jap Day in Adelaide in a couple weeks!
  4. LOL ... one of those "how many people you can fit into a mini.." But in this case it's: "How many people can you crowd around a compliance plate"
  5. As far as I am aware, the early liftbacks were 50's and the late ones were 55's. And also as far as I am aware (and I have original toyota documents/pamphlets which include details) - they only started the Liftback in 77... So if yours is Stamp Dated 76 True KE55 Liftback, maybe the compliance plate is wrong? Can you post pics?? I'll post pics of mine as well :) Cheers!!
  6. Where did you see the KE50 Liftback for sale Joel?
  7. Keen for a catch up in Sept/Oct when the weather warms up!!
  8. Hahaha yeah gotta wait for winter to tick off ay!!!
  9. Haven't been to a club get-together or meet & Greet in ages.. are they still happening? Be good to touch base with everyone again! I know Bianca still has her KE55 :D
  10. Yeah I'd be keen for a meet and greet! At one stage we had up to 15-20 attending car shows and there was even a club banner getting around once upon a time!
  11. Cheers bro!! It's been a long workin progress! :-)
  12. Saw some nice cars at All Japan Day yesterday!
  13. No, there is plenty space in the wheel wells.. I just had to get lower profile tyres, but other than that, all good. A good set of adjustable camber struts and stiff suspension helps... (rides rough but handles insane)!!
  14. Date to be advised, as the original date we had organised didn't suit many people. Let know which date/s and month you would be free and would be keen to have this event - it's still definitely going happen, it's just a question of When...!! cheers, KJ :-)
  15. Fantastic to see!! Thanks for sharing! I see it still has the original Cassette player in!
  16. Haha thanks!! Good to see some other KE50 Enthusiests out there!
  17. Sounds like you have some great ideas!! Would you be keen to help out?
  18. Hi All, so it's been a while since the rollaclub has had a decent get-together. and for those long time rollaclub members, you would remember our "Birthday Cruises" So I thought it was time to get some interest happening again.. But rather than just a normal cruise or meet and greet, I thought it would be fun to have an observation trial! I have organised them before and they are a great fun day out! So I am proposing a Rollaclub Observation Trial. So here's what I am thinking: Date: TO BE ADVISED.. Venue: Barossa Valley (where there are lots of interesting things to see and do) Meeting Point: Adelaide Rollaclub members, meet at Munno Para Shopping Centre, then cruise to Nuriootpa (approx 1/2 hour drive) where we'll meet at the Nuriootpa Train Park (Across the road from Red Rooster and Subway/BP) - there is a giant black steam train at the carpark. Here you will be de-briefed and receive your instructions/directions for the observation trial. The trial will take approx 1.5 hours, taking you around the beautiful Barossa Valley where you will follow closely a set of directions and be required to spot certain things and find certain things - but this will NOT be a timed trial by any means, so no speeding, hooning or the like will be tolerated!!! There will be checkpoints along the way, where you will be required to complete different tasks and points will be awarded accordingly. At the end of the trial, we will have a BBQ lunch and presentations! Cost will be $10 per car (as many people as you can fit in your car legally). This will cover lunch and expenses for the trial. Start thinking about this as this is a great opportunity to have a fun day out and meet some fellow rollaclub members. If you're keen to help out with organising, please inbox me!! Cheers, KJ :-)
  19. In those pictures, the gold rims are 14", but I now have 15" rims - easier to get tyres for!! More choice etc...!! FROG is currently hibernating for the winter - come October, she'll be on the road again!
  20. Awesome news B!! Hope we can go cruising again sometime soon!
  21. Came out with 4K and 5 Speed from Factory Yes. I have quite a bit of info on them (being an owner of one for a number of years now).. Any questions you have, please ask!
  22. Hahaha long time no chat Tom!! Yeah the KE11 still kicks around at my parents place! It's even still under cover believe it or not!! The KE10 is his baby - bought it brand new when he was a lad - number 47 in the world, and one of 6 shipped to Australia direct from Japan (before AMI started assembling them here) So he was planning to use your KE11 parts to fix up his KE10 - although his KE10 is straight, there are a few things that wore out over the years lol!! I can see if I can get a photo at some point for you - I know how much these cars can mean to some people - like me and the FROG lol Yeah I'll get some better pics in sunlight one day! Cheers, KJ :-)
