Thanks man, Maybe it's just me but I thought the front could go down like half an inch more.. but maybe I'm just being too picky lol!!

Got new suspension in... rear is perfect.. front still not quite sitting as nice as I would like.. but we'll give it a few test runs and see if the front springs settle down a bit.. Painted my wheels too!

Any updates on this build?!

Right - think I got my front suspension sorted.... Ordered KYB Short Stroke Shocks, Super Low Springs (modified to suit celica strut on bottom, but with KE55 top to fit my strut hat).. Once all the bits arrive, we'll see if it sits any lower than it was...!! Fingers crossed.. :-)

yeah it only took a year.. I thought I'd give the old 4k a nice decent thrashing before we puller her out... but it still ran fine.. typical reliable corolla engines haha!! But it was time to pull the finger out and do the upgrade!! As for suspension, I've ordered lowered springs, but I need lowered shocks otherwise springs will fall out!! What are the best solutions for 51mm front struts (mine are RA40 Celica struts)

what are they exactly? Make/model? and are you sure they will fit RA Celica front struts? I'm sick of being told 20 different things lol.. I just want something decent..

This has probably been covered before, but I need some help on this one.. I am upgrading the front suspension in my KE50/55.... I have Celica front struts now... 51mm as opposed to my stock 45mm corolla struts.. But I need Short Stroke Shocks, so I can get the car low... Any suggestions of which shocks are the best/easiest to fit? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Cheers :-)

Hey Guys, The Riverland Autofest is coming up on October 27th & 28th. It would be fantastic if as many rollaclub members as possible could head along and have a club display at the Show n Shine on the Saturday! I attended last year and it was a great weekend away! Friday night people can rock up/register early at the pub. Saturday is the Show n Shine & Swap Meet at the Berri Oval Saturday Night is a dinner at the pub + live band (and then we all hit the main bar afterwards and stayed there till close - 2am) Sunday (if you're not too hung over) is the cruise between Berri, renmark and barmera. This year they are having a poker run style cruise. It only costs $20 per person per vehicle (Extra adult passengers $7) Accommodation available at the Riverside caravan park, where we'll probably just grab a cabin (and the good thing is it's only 5-10 minutes walk from the pub haha) Let me know if you're keen, and we'll cruise down together/camp at the caravan park. Those headlight bezels you speak of were apparently available in chrome in the US and I soo want some! Also I believe that tail light surrounds were available in chrome....!!

Okay thanks for that. So really what ur saying is the KE70 BW 3.89:1 diff is the tallest diff that came out in the K series?

I know they are ROH, but still can't find the model or name...

I'm wanting a lower ratio diff for my KE50 caus I live in the country and basically 1st gear is pointless and 5th is still sitting around the 4k mark at 110, so I was hoping there might be a lower ratio diff alternative - presumably out of a KE55 Auto? Can anyone tell me the diff ratio options that were available for KE55? cheers, KJ.

It's a Jap diff, and it's a K50 gearbox yeah.

Hey Peeps, I need a uni joint for my KE50 - and I am not sure if it's the same a a KE55 one, but I have been running into this problem.. Other parts that I have bought for my KE50/55E which I have ordered as standard 'KE55' parts, they've not fitted, or they've needed minor modifications.. So I want to make sure I get the correct universal joint.. Can anyone help as to where the best place might be to get one from in Adelaide (or anywhere in Australia - I am happy to pay postage).
