Medicine_Man Posted September 3, 2004 Report Posted September 3, 2004 Don't you just love it when your ISP decides to change settings and not inform you about it? Then you try and ring out of office hours to figure out whats wrong and can't get through, Then the added insult on the phone message saying you can email them.. :P just found out then they decided to change the login names to just the first part, wondering why my router was saying invalid username / password :P theres my rant, meh.. :P Quote
irokin Posted September 3, 2004 Report Posted September 3, 2004 (edited) I love TPG. They run a nice system. No usernames and passwords on the router. Its all controlled and monitored by static IP addresses. The static IP and diecent prices was what attracted me to them. iPrimus were c**ts. They kept charging us for 6 months after we cancelled our account (around $160). Gil (now iTel) stung me with their "Unlimited" plan....The advertised it as unlimited downloads and unlimited hours. I also found they failed to impliment the 4 hr kick off....so I had a few 30hr connections (then mum wanted the phone). Then they stung me with some bullshit in the contract. $600 later Id never ever consider them again. Hypermax would have to be the only ISP I have left and not had a problem with. I even worked for them for a short period late 2001. (Although Id left them as my ISP late 2000 after 3 years) No 18+ rule in the general areas Edited September 5, 2004 by Ruts Quote
