JiP Posted July 8, 2007 Report Posted July 8, 2007 (edited) Out of all the cars listed my votes for the Levin. If your P plater daughter will be driving this, wouldn't you feel more comfortable if it was a average powered car. Like nothing to big like a falcon, camry which she wont fly off the road in the wet. Personally if this car was to be my childs daily i'd want it to be a small to mid sized car. Thats my two cents. Des Posted July 8, 2007 Report Posted July 8, 2007 Levin or ban. Do not buy the hyundai, my mum had one which I tested rather severely. They suck. Agreed, Hyundai accent's are the biggest piece o shit on the road, All of them at my last job had 60,000km on them and they were falling to bits and made engine noises that weren't normal. Quote
7shades Posted July 8, 2007 Report Posted July 8, 2007 I have an ex and a female friend who both suffer from Accentitis. One developed a problem in the cooling system... something started rusting, destroyed the coolant, plugged up the galleries, motor go boom. Had 80k's on it. Also, the steering wheel dissolved, and the rear foglight fell into the bumper. Ex's car was just a bucket of crap... gearbox shat itself at 70k's, misc other mystery problems, interior (bits that weren't bland flat plastic) fell off, warped, or went brittle and fell apart when touched. Seat belts didn't retract properly. Avoid. Quote
