Coil Over Plug Tacho Connection

Hello everyone. Its starting to really annoy me driving the car without the services of a tachometer. I would hook it up in a snap if only it wasn't Coil Over Plug. Just wondering if anyone has devised a method of modifying the standard tacho circuitry to use a signal from the coil over plug Ignition. Ive heard its possible, but no-one has been able to give me any specifics. Thanks for your help.

Not fully clued up on coil packs and stuff yet but if you run a wasted spark setup (multicoil) The following diagram may also help..
