3SGE mmmmm yeh baby I'm looking at getting one of those intakes for my mystery engine I'm making.. however at 2grand a pop its very exy... but before you say its a waste of money, it reduces inlet temps and its lighter and it doesn't absorb heaps of heat.

i sorta think maybe the small intake ring (thing) is a restrictor. probably a class requirement to help level the playing field. much the same as for certain classes of rally cars.
