don't get all upset Trev but in my experience tow truck drivers are the lowest of the low in most cases. Like carnies they will screw you and smile to your face while they do it. My 2c.

 

So to summarise, SOWERBYS TOWING STOLE FROM ME WHEN THEY TOWED MY CAR, DO NOT TRUST THEM AT ALL.

 

Ha no worries at all, Towing corporations are the biggest scum which i refer to as scavengers but all the time i have needed a tow i have just gone with 1 man teams out there to make an honest living with thier own business, i used to use kev's carrying before dad got his trucks he was a bit exxy but was trust worthy, I used to go give him the keys and the money for the car and he would go around and pick up the car from where ever i got them, My dad also has no interest in f@$king people over as it will always come back to you, As soon as someone has a problem with your company they tell thier mates and they keep the chain going until you have a fair whack that don't want anything to do with your business.

 

Keep an eye out in the commercial traders section soon for all my dad's towing business details as its just expanded.

 

Yeah most are scum, Trev's dad is one of the honest blokes and doesn't charge the earth.

 

Thanks man, He only looks to charge fuel + labour, I dunno where some people get these towing costs from, You got a fairly good deal with the towing of the seca and corona in one go.

When I crashed my first car and was taken to hospital, I had a nice tow truck driver who helped my dad take the face off my stereo and stuff as my dad isn't very technologically minded. Allnyte Towing is his name, he gives me a $50 spotters fee if I spot any crashes.

Trev don't forget you mate Andrew. I use him for my towing a mate of Trevs. He uses a tipper and is always good. He got Des old KE10 for me at Beaudesert for me CHEAP and is flexible. But when ever he is busy I ring Trevs dad. But Andrew is good also.

 

I have used only one commercial Tower before when I snapped my cam shaft in my 5K he seemed like a bit of a shady person he was more interested in trying to get me to tow it to his work shop to be fixed cheap instead of going about 1km around the corner to my place.

Oh P.S. since this is a wrecker thread wrecker near me on Warrick rd Yamanto 4305 near the woollies has some nice cars. He has 2 holding yards likes to keep things complete and then strip crud cars. He is also an importer. Bit on the dear side but he has one of those EP non-turbo corolla a corvet some 400cui chev ute shovel nose rona ke25 with stripes ke35 few KE70 some ke30 and 55 complete sedans and parts. So if people are interested go to him. I think there assholes but hey give them ago. He likes to hide and store rare cars. Like the old rona nice as and he has had a few corvets and that in so he is good on getting rare stuff.

Yeah Andrew is really good (even if he is my mate) but he does it as a hobby so you don't often get it done as soon as you want it, If you have it planned a few days ahead hes all sweet.
