My Ke20 4age Project

Just thought I'd start a thread here rather than updating in the KE20 members section. If you look in that thread you will see photo's of were I'm up to. Basically 1974 KE20 4age, T50 box, Lancer diff and painted in Blood orange 2pack. The bodyshell, door and boot jambs, engine bay and underside have all been painted. In the engine bay we tried to hide as much as possible, as I wanted the bay to be very smooth and clean. The driveline is all in and the car is at my mechanic getting wired up and a few other things done. I painted the bootlid last week, so it is ready to be fitted. Tonight I got the rear bumper bar and taillight surrounds painted. I painted them in silver. I plan on painting the grille, bumpers, light surrounds, bonnet vents and door handles all in silver. When I fit the bootlid, rear bar and taillights I will post some pics.

I found some time today to play with the car. I trial fitted the crystal headlights, now just have to get new screws and clips to fit them. We also fitted the alloy fuel cap and the boot, rear bumper and taillights. Here is a photo. Sorry about the quality of the pic - I used my phone.

Been a long time since I updated. There has been a bit of progress of late. Doors are painted and assembled with all new or refinished componentry, and fitted to car. Guards and bonnet ready to paint. Custom tailshaft is fitted. Slotted front rotors have been purchased. Car is ready to go and get exhaust done, then off to trimmers.
