Peter: Bruce from Nambour (can't remember his last name). Rob recommended him, and a few other people also did so I am assuming he's good. He's quoted me $1100.

 

Simple 6 point, I am guessing it would be CDS (that's cheaper right?). Weld in, removable intrusion bars for legality. Harness bar included. I forgot to ask, but I am assuming he knows I need it to be CAMS approvable.

That's what Transinfo told me to do too, hence I assumed there was no train station in Nambour.

to get to Nambour you can:

 

A) Catch a Gympie train

b) Catch a Caboolture train, then catch a connecting Gympie train

 

to get home from Nambour you can:

 

A) Catch a Roma St train

B) Catch a Caboolture train, then catch a connecting Roma St train

Woo hoo, car is getting picked up on a tilt tray... Tuesday I think.

 

Cage is CDS, built to CAMS specs including blue plate. Wow, that means I'm going to have 3 blue plates on the car!!!

 

#1: engine, seats, front brakes

#2: rollcage

#3: rear brakes, diff

Each time you engineer the car you have to get another mod plate. So if Fook mod plated brakes and seats at one time, then the diff, and then the cage then he will have 3 :). My celicas got a mod plate, but if, for example, I did a brake upgrade then Id have to get another mod plate put in. Weather you can get them all combined onto one I'm not sure of, but heaps of mod plates in the engine bay looks cool :)

Umm, I don't know about "looking cool". Personally I'd much prefer to have ALL of them on one mod plate, but you know how it is...

 

Irokin nailed it on the head. Everytime I get the something mod plated I have to get another plate. The first time I got the car plated, I had a stock diff, and I had stock rear brakes, and no hydraulic handbrake. So only the Landdcruiser brakes were put on the plate.

 

So yes, even though both plates would have the same code on them (generic code for brakes), they will both pertain to a different thing. What this also means is that if I upgrade my front brakes again (to say Wilwood calipers or something) then I have to get ANOTHER mod plate for the new front brakes. One really silly thing is that as far as I know you're not allowed to remove mod plates, so even if those mods no longer pertain to your car, you still have to have the mod plate attached...
