i tried searching but didn't come up with anything regarding this, but since ke26 panel vans came out with steel plates instead of rear windows, can they be removed and replaced with actual windows? or are they welded in place or something like that.

not sure why anyone would want to as ke26 panelvans are very rare!

anyone stupid enough to put rear windows in a ke26 panno deserves to be shot.

 

tell ya what if your panno is as good or better condition than my ke26 4 door well do a swap.

I assume its done the same a the E7 pano's therefore

The 'plates' are all part of the outer shell, so if you want windows there you'll have to cut the shell then get the windows and rubbers made up to fit.... I'd say a very expensive mod to do to a rare model... but would make it unique I guess

i just bought that ke26, so it'll be coming down to melbourne soon :lolcry:, which is why i was asking about the windows. but after seeing it up close i'd rather keep it the way it is.

are you going to finish the 13bt conversion? i believe its possible to engineer it because its a commercial vehicle.

yeh I'm gonna keep the 13bt in it, i just need to sort out better cooler as the top intercooler isn't all that flash. and i need better brakes! cos they are useless atm.

so does it drive or is it unfinished?

yeh it drives fine, hasn't been driven much lately and needs a tune bad as its running rich, but apart from that everything is done, just needs a tidy up.

we got pulled over by the cops once with 3 people in the back of that car. that was when it was first resprayed that metallic blue/green and i think it had a 5k.

haha mad. knowing me i'd do something like that.
