well basicly i just got deliverd my new rolla (cheers adam)

 

and yeah the breaks i think are on there way out

i press the peddle in once all the way to the floor then on the second or third time it will go stiff and apply the breaks then if i wait lets say 20 seconds or so later i press it again then all the way to the floor again (fluids are all full and it dosnt look like there a leak any where i can see)................ possibly the master cyl seels

so what do all you think needs a reco or replacing

Try bleeding them, which can be as simple as finding the little bleed valve, undoing it a bit and pumping the air out of the system with the pedal. Failing that, you have to look at everything and decide whats stuffed. Buy a Gregorys Service manual if you have a few bucks. Saves needing to ask these types of simple things. It will have a troubleshooting guide too.

as littleredspirit said, give it a bleed, check to make sure the brakes are in good nick (eg shoes, pads, wheel cyl leaks etc) and adjust the rear shoes if everything seems ok.

put the handbrake on and try the brakes, if theyre still the same it isnt a problem with the rears.

do this after having bled them.

if theyre still the same after a proper bleeding, then i would suggest replacing the master, theyre only a bit over 100 and its good to replace them even if this isnt the problem.

search about bench bleeding your new master cylinder before install, i had to do it in my ke70.
