loupee Posted November 29, 2007 Report Posted November 29, 2007 hello people i have a bit of a problem, i've got a ke20 that is nearly ready to go back on the road. the problem i have is that i got told to put on ke55 front struts as i had drums, now the top spring carrier is grabbing the strut tower. i have turfed the old struts and they are well and truely at sims by now, what other cars struts will bolt straight in with the spring being the same diameter as the original ke20 items? please help Quote
styler Posted November 29, 2007 Report Posted November 29, 2007 (edited) well obviously go get another set of ke20 struts, other struts wont fit without modifying and even if they do you will have to take time and money to modify them and then they will affect the front end geometry too much if you don't know what you are doing. ke20 came with drums front and disk front. go find disk front struts and upgrade to the ke70 brakes another time. LINDSAY Posted November 29, 2007 Report Posted November 29, 2007 Yeah agreed with styler , your cheapest easiest option is KE2# struts just a matter of finding some i suppose , there is R31 skyline which has the same steering arm bolt spacing but you'd need to change the the spring/spring seat Quote
