DoAwEe Posted December 12, 2007 Report Posted December 12, 2007 Hi guys , i currently own a 91 corolla GTi and just the other day i met this bloke who said that the GTi has the same engine as the SX (100kw), is this true? all this time i thought the GTi was the top of the range corolla, therefore if someone could shed some light and explain to me exactly what the diferrence is between the corolla Gti and SX?? and also this might sound like dumb quesion but how do you tell the difference between a black top and silver top engine? what other tops are there? as you can see I'm abit of a noob. any advice would be great! And the GTi only came with steel wheels, not mags either (so much for "top-of-the-line") Quote
Beejae82 Posted December 14, 2007 Report Posted December 14, 2007 Its a pity that the secas look so gay otherwise I would have looked for one, I'd prefer a mix of the both but starting with an SX. SX have more electric and luxury features. SX is the top line in my opinion Quote
MYSTIK[RL] Posted December 14, 2007 Report Posted December 14, 2007 (edited) less standard features And the GTi only came with steel wheels, not mags either (so much for "top-of-the-line") plus like i said before it was to lower the price of the hatches to sell more of them. oh and beejae nothing wrong with the ae9X seca's :lolcry:. i know quite a few people outside of the "interwebs" that prefer the ae9X secas over the hatches :lolcry: as for me as long as it has a 4age/ze it has my respect :) Edited December 14, 2007 by MYSTIK Quote
