kes.16v Posted February 3, 2008 Author Report Posted February 3, 2008 already today, removed the black side strips pictured above and gave the boot a rub back.... for a respray in red should i sand it back to bare metal??? Quote
kes.16v Posted February 3, 2008 Author Report Posted February 3, 2008 hey guys do the ep91 4efte engine fit in these??? was just doing some reading and had the thougth cos of the 1300cc capacity it would keep it "kinda" original hahaha Quote
Taz_Rx Posted February 3, 2008 Report Posted February 3, 2008 Yeah capacity is right, but then you'd have rego issues for the fact its turbo'd! Would have fun trying to fit the FWD engine to RWD anyway. Did you research gearboxes for the conversion? Probably be able to use a t50 with A series bell. Quote
NickZ Posted February 4, 2008 Report Posted February 4, 2008 Shouldnt be too hard fitting a FWD engine to RWD if you can get a gearbox to fit, Every 4age 20V is a FWD motor and 90% 4age and ZE are FWD Quote
kes.16v Posted February 4, 2008 Author Report Posted February 4, 2008 yeh i would get it engineered lol, what a series bell housing would be good one to use?? and also t50 gearboxs are getting rare ay?? I'm after one so if you know anyone.... yeh i suppose it would be the same deal as putting a 4age in it, have to change mounts and what not, ill do a search now... Quote
