Mr Revhead[RL] Posted December 30, 2004 Report Posted December 30, 2004 the longer runners should help it make more torque, which is what you want on a road car. fitting larger injectors isnt hard, i think 1500 laser ones fit. itll be a good starting point anyway. I'm sure with some fiddling larger a afm can be fitted etc :lol: Quote
Teddy Posted January 11, 2005 Author Report Posted January 11, 2005 Update: Major service got done today Teddy status : Very happy J Cost $770 What got done.. *off top of head* New fuel pump and gasket + connections New hoses here and there Webber fully setup and tuned Custom throtal bracket made up New spark plug shrouds+rubbers New points + condencor Front disks needed maching badly - got done Back drums needed maching even worse - got done New pads all round New drum Break cylinder piston thingie - pushes the drum pads out (both sides) New break fluid New Diff oil + Tranny oil Compression test - 160 155 155 160 ? i think awnay... all good. Complete Tune up of motor New Wheel bearings+seals Rocket cover gasket replaced tappets adjusted wheel alinments all tested - all fine (drives so straight and smooth :P) Coolant system checked for leaks - all good, holds pressure perfectly ! Labour 2 day job Drives really nicely now ! - altho he said the webber is slightly too big for it... he also said if it had a slightly smaller one on it, it would go harder ! Glad its all done, and breaks now don't stay on at all... altho breaks feel different.. I'm happy with it all ! $0.02 Quote
