Calder used to run drift nights.

You'll find there's a number of race track owners that are hesitant or will outright refuse to hold drift events. The track damage is obscene and massively expensive to repair!!

Yeah i guess it would be fairly expensive, Especially with the drivers who can't control their cars and smash up the side rails

Thats why a thing called skid pan is good ;) Just a massive slab of concrete with water jets all over it, Drift heaven and you don't f@$k anything up! unless you sit on limiter the whole track ;)!

DECA at shepparton, most car clubs in Vic run events there. It has a big skid pan and a small track. The water use on the skid pan might be a bit limited nowadays though.
