Tacho Wiring

Hey guys, wondering if anyone knows how to get the tacho working in my ke20, dash cluster is from a sr coupe so has tacho.

 

I had it in my 1973 ke20 and it worked, now iv done up my other 1974 ke20 and it dosnt work.

 

What Do I Do?

check the pin confuguration matches the dash cluster.

Does everything else work??

But for the tacho to work it will need an ignition supply.....(yellow wire from memory)'

earth...(white/black)

and a negative coil trigger....(unknown colour)

 

to check for that get a hold of a test light, with the alligator clip on a positive supply put the probe on the negative side of the coil with the engine running and it should be pulsing.....now go to the dash cluster plug and poke all the wires till u find the pulsing wire.

i think its self explanitory from there.
