harun Posted August 16, 2008 Report Posted August 16, 2008 Any one know of a sand blasting place in melbourne? I have looked within the yellow pages and have not found much. Cheers Quote
KE30_KE35_KE55 Posted August 16, 2008 Report Posted August 16, 2008 You May have more luck searching under Abrasive Blasting, as blasting with sands containing crystalline silica can cause serious or fatal respiratory disease. Quote

Cheers Dude, check out Soda Blasting... not sure if it's in your area yet, but it's gotta be the best way to keep metal intact when stripping paint and the like... Pretty cheap too, considering... Over here on the West it'd cost me $700 for a full strip inside and out... Quote

Doogs Posted August 24, 2008 Report Posted August 24, 2008 Alliance Blasting 8/176 Canterbury Rd Bayswater 9720 2800 These guys were good, knew what they were talking about. (Athough took a few weeks) They use "Garnit'' instead of sand as it does not warp/stretch panels as much. Quote
