Hey guys I have been thinking about buying some new rims for my 1981 ke55 sedan but have no idea what will fit it and was just hoping that a few guys on here could help me out a little thanks.

Well first things first whats your location, can help out if someone has some wheels to offer that may suit your vechile :sob:

 

Next your looking at 4 stud wheels with a PCD of 114.3

 

Than it just depends on what look your after and how big you want to go.

 

Old school kind of style would be:

 

Jellybeans

 

Hotwires

 

But than you have newer style, wheels with dish or wheels that are chromed. All depends on what your after.

thanks for that mate I'm from melbourne and am looking forsomthing more modern than old skool

don't go too modern, because your hektik pimpin shadow chrome spinners will be fulli sik at first then after a few weeks

you will realise it doesnt really suit the rest of the car without chameleon paint and an array of 15 inch subs.

thing is those are my rims but thanks to my brother n his stupid mate two of them have bash marks in them from a hammer...is there any way to repair dents in rims?

sure is, most times its like magic some of the work that can be done on rim repairs

and it can be done economically if the rims are worth something. on occassion the

rim can be buckled or cracked beyond a reasonable repair cost compared to a

replacement rim or set though.

 

those look like late 90's aftermarket rims, probably not made anymore so chance

of finding one the same size, width, pcd and offset is slim unless OEM but they

don't look it.

How about some concept 5's?? they are pretty modern and look good.

This is what came on my car when i got it.

They are Sigma GSR rims.

I think they look good. I am going to the stockies and hubcaps soon though.

 

And another thing is, if you are one that like to do a bit of sliding every now and then, i wouldnt recomend wide bigger diameter tyres. VERY grippy. like driving on rails.

But if your not faised by that at all i would recomend it.

Another thing is the bigger the diameter and wider the rims the more money your going to pay(in most cases)

good old pepper pots, strong rims.

There are some Nissan Silvia stock rims (S13s ?) that look similar to those, just flatter faced.

How about some concept 5's?? they are pretty modern and look good.
