  4. Thanks for your help everyone. The caliper slides were sticky to it wasnt releasing, thus wearing the inside pad to nothing=/ My Faja has told me how replace the pads myself, so i don't have to ask ,WOO Thanks again. Doug
  5. Ok i will check the inner pad tomorrow. It had actually crossed my mind there might be something lodged in between.
  6. That one is a bit harder to see=/ I went for a drive just before, and is VERRY bad now. It is not just when breaking, it is about %80 of the time. I also noticed if i turn right it gets worse. Was thinking could it be a baring? Cheers Doug

  9. Thanks Trev Yea, i just checked them, they look like they have a bit of bight still, 4mm =/
  10. Every Now and the When I am bracking at low speed..15k/h the front right wheel has a large scraping kind of sound. once i stop and try braking again it doesnt do it. I checked the brakes a month or so ago, and they seemed fine. I am going to take the wheel off and have a look, but other then if there are pads there or not, am not realy that sure what i am looking at. My dad is a mechanic, but is away so i would like to know if i should still be driving or not? just because i need my car for work on friday. Thanks gyes (and girls) Doug
  11. Yea, used to do that every day after school, good laugh
  12. This is an great project, I have grown up with Suzzies, now i am into rolla's so this is golden. Just one thing, it will end up being very similar to a Subaru, except i don't think the Subaru's have low range...this tru? but this will be allot cooler then any Subaru will ever be.
  13. funnerestlyfun fun. Leave the man alone. And me likey the original allot more besteress. It was much more goodlyer. I think someone mentioned before the Fiesta didn't seem to be going anywhere near as fast, i guess because it didn't have wheel spin the whole way up and what not. I guess there Isn't much Fiesta left after "duratech" (or whatever) have finished with it. And rally beats Drift every time.
  14. Hay I am jealous, everyone wants a wagon, and as ryan said, I have seen worse.
  15. If i want to get all wet when its windy, i just go for a sail, allot of fun, less likely to get in trouble or kill someone. Yay sailings cool.
  16. Last night a light green/yellow 2door KE30 parked in Morphett Vale, looked overrated. Also another 2 door tonight darker green in woodcroft, wish mine was 2door.
  17. Verry nice :P Sounds Like it will be sweet after your finished with it. :(
  18. My new grilll, well painted old grill. Verry happy with it. :P Gloss black, didnt paint the plastic/chrome insert in the middle so it looks white. I removed the top insert but doing so destroyed it :sob: Anoying as i have a spare Middle insert :( Also, decided i would take the left hand guard off to replare the rust that look liked it was coming through and remove the dirt back there. I got a surprise, there was half a bucket of dirt and leaves to start. Then i had a looked at the guard, i thought it would be about 50c piece size.....i was wront :( Seems like it had been repaired before, but not the best.. So now i am using a Panel off Ryan (SLO 030) thanks mate. Colour matches good hay :P So now looking for a decent panel to replace it with or a good bottem half to repair the other one.
  19. Ahh, sorry sir. :bash: Umm, i don't know, the one i have looks good, but is missing the top insert. Has yours got the top insert. Will post the new grill in my thread, see if yours is any better?
  20. Egg cartons :bash: Boot mats work good, Had an extra one in my old car, hatch back was so noisy before i put it in. don't know about putting them in doors, but worked good in the boot.
  21. WOWEE! I havent read your thread in ages. You reely don't do things by halves do you luke. Are you still using that tinted glass i gave you, coz it would be the worst part of the car by the looks of it. Good day to you sir.
  22. I hav not updated in a wile and i am in the mood for it, but is pooring down at the moment, so no pictures of the new grill. (i do have a waterproof camera, but i don't want to get wet :y:) I went with Gloss back btw. So pictures that i took a wile ago..... I realised when it rained i got water in the cabin, and sourced it to the vent canal (whatever the name is). Had a looksi in there and it was full of leaves and dirt :/ And there was a nice hole. So i cleaned it out and for a quick fix i covered the vent. When i had the time to fix the hole, I cleaned it up, and it twas a bit bigger then i thought. So i was thinking about how i was going to fix the hole, bog, weld a plate..? So i was going to make a template out of a tin can and bend up a metal plate from the template. But then i thought i could just glass the can and stick that there :) stuck it in with marine grade sealent, so it is not goin anywhere :bash: mm, no more leakys : D
  23. Mate had a pulsar he was scrapping, so we took it out for a last spin, and also had some hammers and baseball bats to iron out some creases :P exept my mate kinda mised what he was aiming for, and took out the back AND passenger window. so we went ot the local Deli to see what we could fing to fix it. we bought 2 rolls of clear packing tape, worked a treat :P Also my mates sigma had Spring compressors on the springs to lower the car, they stayed in there for months.
