As the topic description states, I have a fantastic KE30 clock, and as they hardly ever work well I was wondering if anyone knew of a replacement. From a different car, A 2 dollar shop they have found one in? Oh yea, i would like it to look like its suposed to be there :( Or a way to make it work well, would be good? Anything you have will be good i guess Cheers Doug

There is a house that has always had a White KE30 out the front near Elizibeth rd Morphett Vale, now they have 2 KE30s might even had a 70 tucked away too. Anyone on hear? Also i spotted what i though was a KE3o, but was reely dark only seen the tail light shape. on states road near pimpala road...sounded good:)

I run a stock 3k carby on my 5k, runs run But i guess it would run a bit better/harder if it had bigger jets. Hope that help Doug

Rolla will have a water temp and oil presure gauges in the center consol, got some brand ned VDO ones tooo, trade prices through dads work :) suposed to put them in on sunday, but have cruise mmm That was the only practical place i could think of putting them, visible, not in the way, and not looking hidious. Will take pics of shiney 5k today too :jamie: Doug

pfft, you can drive in the rolla anytime :hmm: Whats the point of having a preeety car if you can't drive around in it with some of your best friends. Plus you own the venations so you are just driving with them......and the rolla :P If anyone wanted to know Kristian, Jenna's other half used to own the rolla, was Kristian grandma's before that.

Spotted the most beater yella KE35 today near colenaides, looked like it had been rolled down a hill and stoped in a pool of salt water... I still loved it :y:

WOOOO 5K power!!!! :D So much nicer to drive now, even though i have been grannying it around as its new, can't wait till i can see how good the cam is with a nice webber or somthing. :lol: Allso the rolla CAUGHT FIRE today!!!!! At work (pizza man) went to turn can on ....nothing...SMOKE!!! YAYYY!!! lifted up bonnet and some wire were ablaze so i proceeded to blow it out. It was a wire from the alternator to the positive terminal. I guess it didnt like the replacement alternator. Dad has done a quick fix for now, and we will tidy it up..later. pictures of ye shiney 5k when i get my camera back..not tomorow (FRENZAL RHOMB!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :yes: !)

My car was parked on grote street allnight one night last week. went to get it in the morning and it had been broken into. I only knew because it was open and door ajar, because NOTHING was stolen, my CD player would take 8 min with tools to take out, the 5 dollar note sticking out of the ashtry + the 10ish dollars of coins in the car probly $100 worth of CDs. only thing wrong was they try to force the key barrel with a screw driver. Some one must haved spooked them off, i am soo lucky, I normaly unplug stuff under the bonnet if i am leaving it in a risky area for a night and nearly ALLWAYs take my face off and put it in the boot no matter where i park my car. WOW thats allot of offtopic jabber :P .....free bump Hope you find it buddy...at least they thought your car was worth stealing :( Doug

The 3k carby ran fine on my old 5k, so i guess it will now. obviously it is not going to be making huge power with a stock 3k carby, but since i am just running the motor in it should be fine untill i can be bothered getting a webber or somthing of the sort. Thanks for the offer though. plus shipping from Perth might be pricy. And yesh, ye ole 5k now looking verry smick, all pollished by hand to as i have no buffing tools....mmm autosol just figured out, going to have to ride my bike to get the oil and the pipes :P

5k is in, just need to pick up some hoses, put oil in her, check rocker gear, put cooling system in inc radiator, pipes etc...and thats it WOO!! :P SO brand new 5k power by hopfully 5pm tomorow!! :( will post pics when its all going and i have run out of petty so i can't drive it any more. WOOP WOOOP! .....btw i doubt I will get a reply before i go get oil.....any recommendations of what to run on the fully rebuilt 5k?

WOWEE! had a looksi at VDO and steward warner on the web, they look decent. But I couldnt reely find prices so I went to see how much a VDO water temp sensor would be worth down at the local shooop, $120ish the gye said :y: thats gonna hurt. not sure what i am gonna do, might just go with oil presure a bit cheeper brand and hide it a bit under the glove box?

Yea am am rarley home in the evenings when my Faja (dad) is so he can show me (build himself) how to propaly built up the engine, so one day i wont need his help. Now i just need another job to fund the rest of the stuff for the rolla....paint, sprayjob, white walls, suspention. I checked an hour ago o have a total of $1.75 in my bank!!!! Hopfully more good new to come. Doug

Thanks for the offer mate, but i only just read this, you posted ages ago sorry. I will probably go ahead with white gages when i can be bothered. Done a little with the 5k last night (finally) Decided just to run the 3k carby that i have, because at least i know it works well(ish) and no need to put a huge carby on there wile i am running it in. So hopfully i will be back to 5k power soon

Gee money bags. Thats one of the reasons why i havent looked too hard into aircon, as i was a bit iffi that it would rob the already laking in power that is in my car. But air con would be nice..mmm vinal seats in 45deg weather =sticky :bash: Could disconect it in winter, except it is handy to defog windows :doh: Doug
