Hi all, i am back from perth. I had fun. Ended up 15th Australian out of 55ish, so preety happy, I don't quite make the worlds in Itay :P Back to the car. Just had a quick squizz under at the rails. they don't seem bent. but i could be wrong. But since most of the impact was just above the bumper i would say that they arnt. But Kinda over this car atm. If anyone Has a reasonable KE36 i might be interested. Cheers. Doug

IT WILL GET YOU DRUNK! The smell enough is to kill, i am a fan though, i have a bottle next to me as a matter of fact (not drinking it) It is the only thing one of my friends drink, he has no liver any more though. I must say GIN and SOLO ftw. :P hardly taste it, or smell it. Good for getting away with drinking on trains etc. :lmao: and best of all IT WILL GET YOU DRUNK! :P

It did to explain that the gauge is not the only thing that could be the problem. And i have since followed up on it and realized that the sender it self that is in there at the moment does not work, and my guage seemed to work when i tested it. So thank you AGAIN for the pointers. :lmao: P.S i am getting all new/recom cooling parts to go with the recon 5k, so shouldnt hopfully have any other problems i guess. Any other pics of gauges? Not sure where your going with that? And there is no way i am having three guages in my dash. I want it kinda hidden/looking stock, not in the middle of everything. I took my tacko out and replaced it with the crappy clock that hardly works, if that makes it any clearer.

As I am near fully rebuilding a 5k I DO NOT want to overheat and kill this one. (as what happened last time i think) The 30 year old gauges just seem to work...most of the time, so I was wondering, in what way have other people overcome this problem. I was thinking along the lines of an external (after market) water temperature gauge but I can't think of any ware i can mount it without it looking hideous. Are there any other fancy ways to make sure my gauges ALLWAYS work, or any examples of after market gauges that you have done that look respectable (oldschool) i can look at? Any help is appreciated :) Doug.

Same to you and ryan (slo 30) Not bad for basicaly NO planing what so ever. 3 is enough to blabber about rollas for 40 min :) my car looks so high next to ryans. I probly wont worry about another meet and greet this year (whats left of it) Its all too hard. I might organize one, maybe gokarts again (and actually turn up) early next year.

The reason why I love my car SO much is that it is unique, it's not yellow and brown :) Yea that was off that dodgy resprayed wite rolla. We sold it yesterday so you could of had it back :y: And yes it has seen better days. the only thing that seemed to be good in that car was the 3k...and thats not something to be proud of. there were no good pannels, badly bogged holes, list goes on. bought for $500 sold for i think $450. Spent most the day playing leap frog with exausts, and trying to get that started, pic>>note crashed overrated sunny( hats the good side) :sob: :y: That exhaust was SOOOOOO LOUD!! it was fun when you were thrashing around made cool poping noises. but trying to talk to people in the car is difficult....probably be for sale soon. making a new exhaust.

Jason has it, just off lonsdale highway, allso off dangal(??) road...Toyoland road. used to do shit in there too, but got caught coming out with mud ALLOVER the car, and got told to never go in there again, so havent...exept to take pics, but wasnt being a dick. They gye who bought Kristions white 30 today, he had a Galant with nicely polished pepper with white walls, looked SWEET!..might keep them yet.

When I was dropping off my mates white 30 he just sold (Kristion) in hackam, off honey pot i was %85 sure i saw a KE10 wreck out side a house.

I was more thinking a small, poorly organized meet up in the next week. eg this friday/sunday arvo evening. If you come tomorrow, you will get cheap pizza, and mahbe free pizza depending. come later in the night so it's not so busy.
