55, square head lights, good clip too

spotted a stock looking Light blue KE30 a couple of times last night driving around in Woodcroft car park, Would have got out and said hi, but was in a hurry. Anyone on hear?

I thought about putting an altimeter/volts in but that cost even more. But will be piss easy to put one in later, just get 2 more aluminum plates. I wanted the 5k to be shineyer, but only had autosol do do polishing with...no power tools, so couldn't be bothered. And Jon, The adomiter is fine now, it has worked it self out, except the very last cog, but it will be a wile until i need that one i think. Thanks for the comments gyes, makes it that bit more inspiring to do more.

:y: Page 100!!! :bash: Allso spotted a 2dooor KE30 out the front of UPI Lonsdale today. Looked like the one that was in the compound a wile ago..same colour, venations. Gave the gye a wave... wasn't looking.

...the guages? Not very long, less then 2 hours. but that was including sanding the holes bigger as the hole saw is notquite big enough, and painting.

Bizzare...clock seems to have fixed it self :bash: As half the time i would look at it it wouldnt even be ticking. then latley i had noticed it was allways ticking, so I set the time, and it has staid correct for 24hrs:D...bet it wont work now i said that.

Fitted up the guages. They are in the car but havent run the wires yet, waiting untill dad and i have a spare moment. I decided to take lots of pictures wile i was doing it...... Start with a nice clean work bench :bash: What i started with, (note Auto center console as i have KE70 5speed) Removed storage "thing" Cut Aluminum plate to fit cut holes with hole saw had so sand about half a mill bigger, painted Cut backing plate backing plate with holes and one guage fitted and walla

I havent read the whole topic, so havent seen what other people have read but spare a thought of the people that live 40min+ south of the city, for us to meet at parrafield it takes an hour just to get there. Just a thought. When i get a better job, i will organise Gokarting again too:) Doug

That looks the part, wish i spent a bit more time painting my block and bolt on bits dizzy feul pump etc.

I think we were cruising a bit quick in my opinion, as it was a cruise not a race, can we put the slower cars at the front next time please, instead of the turbo cars, then we wont get so spread out next time too. I am soo glad i have my 5k in as my ole 3k would had been lagging verry far behind. And i have sent you an email with attachments Lexxi :wink:

Oh yea, might give it a good blow(no dirty jokes please) and if its still crappy, sure it will be, go to wreckers and have a scrounge :( I got some VDO gauges orded in from Dad's work, i suggested he should order a clock too....I got laught at don't know why i can't come up with these things myself Cheers gyes.

HA HA! I replaced my Taco with a clock :( Then figured out it doesnt work too well. I want a clock though. Might go down to 2dolla shop to find one to jam in the hole :) Doug
