  1. This is a great write up, and could help alot of people, why is this not pinned? Just my 2c Doug
  2. She can come :y: She can bring some of her friends too :y:
  3. I have some Sigma GSR rims on my rolla. They are not so shiney anymore. I got told by a couple of people to use "Autosol" I have used this, it works well, but it is not agresive enough, as my wheels are too dirty. It has this "Crud" on it and it is a #@!^ to get off! I tried using steel wool and "gumption" and still going to take years to make shiney. Long story short..... What should i use to get this stuff off and make my wheels SHINEY!mmm shiney stuff I will obviously still use autosol at the end to get the shine. Thanks Doug
  4. I have filled the tank. Nothing seems to be different. I guess you were thinking the temp and the fuel gauge were crossed or something? And my clock mysteriously stop working the other day. Seems to be working now though.berwooo(spooky noise)
  5. Thats Ok. :y: I am glad that you have told me so i know how many more people to invite.
  6. Told you to talk to these gyes didn't I. This is out of the Gregorys repair manual.
  7. Deposit is all sweet :hmm: You will have to thank my mate Dale, he will be coming along as well as a couple of my other mates that have had rollas before or just got one. Cya you all Friday :y:
  8. Jip...nice OMG OMG OMG! One of my best mates has a rolla now. it was his grannys it is is overrated condition!!!!!! %99.9999999999 original. omg omg omg Went cruising last night in it, looks cool with 2 rollas terrerising (not realy) the streets. Hopefully he comes a member soon and posts some pics :hmm:
  9. Its a magical switch, (que mysical music) BERWOOOOO :hmm: And yes as Murd said, its for my amp. it is the wire that goes from the head unit to the amp to tell the amp to wake up. Tiss very handy, used it last night even. When you want to listen to music without the car on, but don't have much battery life left. And plus it looks better than just the plugs that are usually there.
  10. Have taken some pictures of my improved dash. You probably can't notice much difference. The only thing i wanted to do was to put the clock in and tack the taco out. This turned into probly about 15+ hrs worth of work :hmm: Because the original dash panel and instrument cluster were modified to put the taco in i then needed to bye new ones....more money I'm not going into details, but long story short was a BIG headache that hasn't gone away yet (read in mechanical forum KE##) All i ended up doing was tidy up all the wires behind the dash, bolt in head unit as it was just floating around, cut hole in new dash panel and obviously the clock. Note; Adomiter stuck on 209999 I reset the head unit further back into the dash and made the hole in the dash panel smaller, so only the face pokes out, looks allot neater i think New. note allot neater then the old one (cigerett doing a burnout  ) OLD-> Next on the list other then teeding problems, actually bye some Autosol, to mack thing all SHINEY
  11. Just spent nearly an hour looking at this site, ITS AUSUM! the brouchers for the rollas are classic. everyone should have a looksi. pitty the arent australian. So much in there i want.
  12. That settles that then. I guess i could have just looked up this myself. Thanks Irokin for the link
  13. Yes that does sound strange. I guess there is a method to your madness? But i might try anyway, as i do have no petrol in my car at the moment. By the way the petrol guage does work. Will get back to you after i go broke and put in some petrol ;)
  14. Yea new radiator cap is on the list anyway, because i lost my decent one. (long story short i forgot to put it on and drove off.) As for the head gaskit, I have never noticed any white smoke(havent been looking) I will look into replacing it, when dad and i both have a weekend off. Thanks again for the help. Just to add another thing i noticed. I used an older radiator cap for a quick drive, when i checked the radiator i noticed that there was coolent in the top of the radiator. As the only coolent in my car is in the overflow bottle, i guess somehow that coolent managed to go back into the top of the radiator from the overflow bottle.WTF?
  15. Thats fine. Sounds like it is something more important. .............................................................. I am not sure how i am going to pay you before? unless you live near Morphett Vale? ;)  ;) :D So hears the thing. The deposit needs to be paid by this friday, it can be paid over the phone via credit card but as i don't have one, or you can pay in person. can someone pay for me please. :D If you pay the deposit you will not have to pay on the night, and we will all pitch in some money for the rest of the deposit. If not i will have to drive down on Friday afternoon and pay in person. That is a long drive for me. PM me, or ring me on 0421386048. P.S i am bringing some friends if don't have the right amount of people
  16. Ok. As i figured there was not much point in doing anything without the engine have any temperature. So this evening after i went for a drive i had a play... Hears the thing the needle moves up when the engine heats up but it only moves up a little tiny bit. And i know it is getting warmer then the gauge is telling me because the water level is getting low in the radiator (read other thread "cooling problems") The temperature gauge is defiantly getting some sort of signal from the other end, as when i unplug it from the engine end, the needle drops, plug it back in needle moves up again. Hopefully that makes it a bit clearer Doug
  17. Good job mate. :o Your are very dedicated. (who wouldn't be)mmmm rota Sounds like a extremely busy weekend. And you REELY need a sleep. Hope I get to see it soon :y: Come to GoKarts 3rd Oct Cheers Doug
  18. DAMM IT!! :bash: Now my temperature gauge doesnt work, wich is REALY bad in my car (read my other thread about cooling problems) Gahhh it never ends.
  19. Ohhw Sorry i didnt go, I had something planed that i had forgotten about. Sounds like it was good though. See you all at Gokarts. Douggeh
  20. HEAR HEAR! :y: F#*ING P Platers You wouldn't think that you would have to go through these things would you. But there are people out there who do not realise that they are idiots. I do admit that when i first had my Ps I drove like a bit of a dick. I still had consideration of other people, just when there was no one else around i was a compleat dick. I have had my licence nearly 3 years and I now drive alot more sencible, I wont say i do not drive with 'enthusiasm', but hay we can't all drive like grannys. (BTW i still am on P plates just coz stupid fines) But people who are just dicks ALL the time should have to walk still. my 2c Doug
  21. Found one the same colour on EBAY.Clickity Off topic. noticed that i have spell check on hear now? might have something to do with me using Google chrome (new browser like internet explorer)
  22. Depending on what light, my rolla sometimes looks like this colour. But only usually only at servos under fluros.
  23. OOOOhhhh Ahhhhhh :o So CLEAN. My rolla was as clean as yours. Mine also came with all the service history including 100000 receits.(if interested click my signigture below) It is SOO nice to have a car that clean when you bye it, no restoring needed. Still don't realy understand the ring thingo, but i guess its a UK thing. Good luck with everything :y: Doug
  24. The reason the stick is further back is because the gearbox i sout of a KE70. As for the KE70 center console, i am trying to keep the car as original as possible :) Even though it would be handy to put a drink in i guess  Definatly need to polish up the rims. :lolcry: I have seen what they look like polished ;) 5K mods are when i can aford it, and have time. As I am "Dougie the Pizza boy" i need my car for work. So mods= no car for a wile=no work=no $$ And yes mmmmm PSI :rolls: Thanks for all the coments :hmm:
