To do both activitys is a bit pricy$$$$ And i think to do Gokarting as a group we need to do it in the evening. As for the cruise we can figure it out on a later stage i guess. Even on the night if need be. Has anyone got any objections to Gokarts 7pm Friday 3rd October ? Other wise i wil make some phone calls, unless someone would like to do the running around for me? I kinda guessed it was there when you got it. Its a Rock band from america. :no2: STRUNG OUT And my dads a mechanic and he never does anything on my rolla. I guess he doesnt want to more work after he gets home from work. He did help with me engine conversion though.

New steering wheel. :blush: I wanted the more original look. So i stole the steering wheel from "the yellow rolla" wreck that i had. It is kinda anoying where the horn buttons are because i allways press them acadently.(speeling) But it is more olds-cool :dance: Note no center console because of the 5 speed shifer moving :bash:

HA HA! Fair enough. Yea i have never been before so didnt realy think of that. By the sounds of it most people are inclined to do Gokarting. Any one else have any opinions? Is there only one place to go? Does any know anyone on the inside, so we can get it cheeper? If we do gokarting as a group we will have to do it in the evening by memory. So what night do we want it if we do gokarting?

I will rather to do Paint ball because it a HEAP cheaper. I am not realy too keen to pay $2 a min to drive Gokarts, When i can do paint balling for min $15 for all day. And it will be a nice drive there too. Just the only thing is what day? Because most people don't want to do it on a sat because of sports etc. But most people have to work or somthing the next day on monday, i guess don't want to be owee from paint ball? Just my 2cents. please don't tell me that "i could have just done this......." because i know NOW that i did this the wrong way. At some point my friend got offerd a KE30 with a 3T, tinted windows heap of other crap. He wanted the moter for somthing. So i claimed the rest and paid half. He then never wanted the moter, so i ended up with the whole thing. was going to put the 3T, but Dad convinced me not too. His valed points were, need bigger brakes, no where near legal, need to cut hole for gear stick, hydrolic clutch etc etc. I am now selling the 3T So at the end of june I bought a 5k off dads mate for $500 (rip off i think :hmm: ). As most of you know who have ever driven a K series with a 4 speed that its not nice over 80k/h So went to U pull it had a look around and found a 5 speed in a KE70. $95 Shead full of rolla shit. Dad did his "mesurments" to make sure that it would fit. He said it will fit. and worst case i will have to make a SMALL knotch in the gear stick hole in the floor. Having this in mind we went ahead with putting in the 5k with the 5speed. After dropping it in and putting in a couple of bolts, modifying the gerbox cross member. as you do. I looked in the gear stick hole, and was very disapointed to see no where to put a gear stick. just the top of the box. :bash: Thus meaning that i had to CUT A HOLE IN THE ROLLA!!! :eatlead: :n: :n: After mesuring and weepin for hours, i did the dredded and got the hole saw out. sat down with it in my hand thinking that it wasnt that bad with a 4speed, or You could have just put the 3T in. Note the towl on the seat to wipe up my tears. MY mesurment were spot on and the sick came strate up through the middle of the hole :y: Made a nice plate to go over existing hole. Just need to make a new center console, because the other one doesnt fit now. The only other problem that we found was that the 5k had another hose off the back of the head. so i just blocked it off. P.S. From byeing the 5k to driving away in the rolla, was 4 days. It needed to be done this quick as i deliver pizzas as a living and needed a car. Thats why i didnt wait for another gear box. Next up. i put the PEE-SHOOTER on. I can hear my self thinking now :lol: (not much of that going on but i can hear those monkeys with the cymbols) car is a bit dirty. mmm might give her i nice bubble bath then a rub down with some mmmmmmmmm(weird? yea i think so)

Ok after it had its first wash in years>>>(just noticed that the grass is all dead still. not any more) Note the granny dent. first and hopefully only dent it will ever get. on the outside i have changed only the exauset TOO LOUD! now have Pee-shooter and the rubber the other ones were sitting around for years. The list for the outside> front badge-orginal, lower a bit, stocky rims-white walls-hubcaps, vanetions(inside) sunshade.

YESH WILL DO! on the list of stuff already. Not sure on the year will check later. Ok this is the inside a couple of weeks later. (nothin changed since i bought it, exept boot stuff) Things on the list, taco-clock, steering wheel. Note the 2 demister switches. the other one turns the amp off (why?.... WHY NOT??) These are the after pics of the boot....... It originally had a big sub box that took up most of the boot and the panel that hols the amp came out more. and you couldnt get to the spare wheel. I made a small box behind the sub to make more room. (now regret coz sounds like poo) And made the amp mount hinged so i can stash stuff behind the amp like tools, jack, drugs etc More to come soon.......

HA HA! :lol: Thanks all Funny this. was looking around in U pull it, chating to my mate. looked in a boot of a KE70 for no reason at all, "Bla Bla, look sun shade.....OHHH SUN SHADE!" :P: So i bought it $17 just only had one bracket. So i will make a set wont be too hard. Or see if the maufactor is still open. Cheers all Doug

Ok i have been meening to do this for a wile. So hears the story.... I had first seen the rolla that my mate got from his granny years before and was very jelous. Then we had a job together and I picked up my mate for work everyday and walked past his rolla EVERY DAY. I could not let her just sit there, so i saved enough moola and took it off his hands. He had done some mods that are obvious in the pics. (Sigma mags, Steering wheel, sterio,exaust tip) But she was mostly stock. inc 3k Hear is some pics before i bought her..... more to come soon....

I'm sorry if this is suppoed to be put in another location, thought that it was suitable to put hear. :) I was woundering if i should put a front sun shade on my KE30. :) I am trying to go granny spec, but don't want to go dork spec. :dance: So has anyone got a pic of there KE30 (or other) with one on, so i can have a looksi? Or any opinions of if it looks stupid or not, because i am not sure my self. I don't want to start an argument or anything, just some opinions. Cheers All Douggeh :(
