The water(coolant) has been in there for years and doesnt seem to be getting any fuller. And as i loose upto 2L a week i don't think its going in there. :rolls: :) ;) :lolcry:

Did another look at the oil, seems fine to me. I Have an overflow bottle. (I'm guessing stock) But it doensnt seem to ever get any water in it, Thus i didnt think that this would make a diference, if the water isnt getting out? Thank for the ideas though, might look into one anyway, to make sure its not that. Doug.

New center console in aswell. as I have a KE70 5 speed the shifter is further back and i could not use the original center console. When i was looking for a choke cable in a AUTO KE55 i noticed the hole was in a good spot for where my shifter is. I had to sand it a little, but now fits like a charm. Most people wouldnt know it wasnt stock. pics of dash soon

1 I... don't... know.... Acually now i think about it, It only builds pressure when running hot (no water) 2 Take off the exaust at the manafold to check? 3 open cap and have a looksi for bubles in water? or does that have a diferent meaning? 4 Done this, no milkshake (ohh i do like milkshakes) I don't think it is a head gaskit as i have not found any water in the oil. HA HA! thats what everyone has told me. Thanks anyway (it is usually somwthing simple with me) I have fixed the problem :) after many more hours. ;) I think it was the plug that goes onto the back of the dash. the contacts were pushed in and wernt doing anything.

I have a Shelf :) Wilst looking for a new choke cable, i found a shelf, to i decided to put it in my rolla. It it quite handy to put ..stuff on. Also decided to take out the speaker under the dash, no real reason (save waight) Bet these babys PUMP THE BASS

This has baffled me for ages.... I keep losing water about half a liter a week (depending on what I'm doing) I have presure tested the syestem and can not find the leak and i am fed up with having to check the water all the time. I have never found water coming out of the Heater, the radiator cap doesnt seem to leak eather. Any thing else i could try? Cheers Doug

I Found one at U-Pull it (wreckers) It was just on the ground. Fits like a charm, I just need another bracket, as i could only find one. My friend also has one on her Datsun Sunny, its exacly the same as mine. Good luck with the hunt Doug

I have put in a new intrament pannel (I.P) , and dash pannel. I drove round with this I.P for a week all was fine (exept the adomiter doesnt work-don't care). Now i have fart ased around putting in my sterio and trying to make it fit. And now all the warning lights and guages don't work. inc Charge, Oil etc :) but the right hand indicator works (on the same lume)?? I have tested using the old I.P and still doesnt work. Got a test light out even. and no signal. I don't think i have unpluged anything acadently that i can see. This has been frustrating me ALOT as i have been tinkering with this for many hours. With factory KE30s I have noticed that there are not many other colours other than white, and shades of yellow and brown. mine is factory Maroony kinda colour, even though it says it brown? Just woundering if there was anyone out there with the same colour as mine or any other un usual factory colours? my rolla-(btw NO its not that low, mmm photoshop)

I am selling a 3T Clickity clickity As it does not come with a carby, and i do not know what was originally on there to start with; I and potensual byers would like to know what will fit with not too much hastle, where to get them, and if anyone has one for sale. Spotted on hindly street about 12ish sat night a de-badged KE70 with i think undercote, or just shitty paint? it had sollid shiny rims (not sure on technical term) Looked preety cool though. Seen a heap of other rollas around but saying that i have seen a baby poo brown rolla on some road doesnt realy mean much :D Cheers Doug

WOO looks like its going to be over run by rolla's :) might not need to book the pub for lunch. i guess we could get this and the Gokarting thread put onto "events around the country" news thing on the home page because atm its the Topgear cruise and that was a wile ago.

The carby was rebuilt less then 6 months ago. But i might take the carby off and give it a good clean. So then i know its not just dust and shit.

A little wile ago i noticed that ocasionaly, my engine would be reving a little higher than usual when i put my foot on the clutch/ out of gear. When i bumped the accelerator or pulled the choke on and off it went away. It slowly got worse. So i spayed some RP7 on the springs n stuff on the carby. It seemed to work for a wile. it has now come back REALY bad. For example reving at 3500 rpm when you try and change gear. I have have tryed above, looked for kinks or splits in the accelerator cable, and the peddle doesnt seem to be getting jamed on anything. So i was wanting some advise on what the problem might be and how to fix it. BTW i have a 5K with 3K carby. don't know if that helps. Cheers Doug EDIT: don't know the exact cause but i fixed it :P took carby off, gave it a bit of a clean with air compreser n stuff. And I also replaced the vacume hose that comes off the manafold onto the brake booster as it was shit. So somthing worked

This is what came on my car when i got it. They are Sigma GSR rims. I think they look good. I am going to the stockies and hubcaps soon though. And another thing is, if you are one that like to do a bit of sliding every now and then, i wouldnt recomend wide bigger diameter tyres. VERY grippy. like driving on rails. But if your not faised by that at all i would recomend it. Another thing is the bigger the diameter and wider the rims the more money your going to pay(in most cases)
