Hey all got a bit of a problem wondering if anyone can help. I have oil coming out of the dipstick and also excessive amounts going into the carb :jamie: . Any suggestions.

Know of any places down your way for a complete rebuild kit. Up here you get bugger all choices

i had the same oil prob with my carby, i jus ran my pcv valve to my intake manifold. no more oil :P

but unless yours is a huge amount of oil it may need some different attention

yeah i think it might be time for a rebuild.Just spoke with the guy i bought it from its been over 14 years since the head come off ( :jamie: bloody impressive that)That is if its true :lol:

14 years would be pretty average for a K. :yes:

 

as for the dipstick - One of my cars was doing this, fixed it with a little bit of leccy tape around the rubber on the end of the stick!! :lol:

 

As Trev said though, this is only the tip of the iceburg. Fix your blow-by problem and the other to issues shouldn't be issues any longer!! :)

Almost any spare parts retailer (inc supercheap) down here can order in a full rebuild kit. Inc pistons, bearings gaskets yada yada yada,
