My new TE72 needs some lovage in the engine department so i am hoping to run another engine (and box) will i clean up the 3Tc... all temp of course.

 

does anyone know what needs to be done for the swap eg: crossmembers, tail shaft and what not

if i was you id pick up a cheap 2T or 3T & a T50 for the mean time then when you are finished with them try to sell em for what you paid.

I was under the impression that 3T's were a little hard to come by how ver if i can find one i'm all for it... if not ....

4age conversion if you have the money lying around

bolts straight up with ae86/ae71 x member and mounts etc

no modifying mounts etc etc

plus then you can convert the steering to rack without no modification...

the gentleman I scored the T18 from rolled off with a 4age for scrap before i could get my greasy little hands to it :y:

k40 and k50 boxes are cable clutch and te72's a hydraulic.
