hey all as you can see i'm new here

Didnt think i'd make it to joining this forum but yeah it all started when a mate at tafe shows me a pic of a corolla that looks in pretty good nick. I offer him $500 for it, just mucking around, and he goes ill talk to his dad and sure enough he sez ok, next wed I'm now picking up a ke50 only to find out they're a fairly rare model for its time, not entirely sure on proper condition but ive been told theres no rust or dents, the paints pretty good still and the interior is still fairly good.

Its packing a rebuilt 1200cc of toyota fury and shifted by a nice 5 speed to a welded diff, she's white with tinted windows and half the exhaust system it should have.

At the start i was just buying it coz i wanted a cheap bush car so i msg my mate and he told me he'd pretty much kill me if i did and after he'd been on here and found out they can be worth as much as a few grand i thought i'd hold onto this one

So what year is it?? Black dash or brown dash??

havnt actually seen the car in person yet haha but i will be picking it up on wed so you'll find out then.

well i picked it up tonight and i must say wow at the definite difference in power compared to my cefiro.

Jip_01 its a 78 model and has the black dash but its got cracks all through it, still in one piece but cracked. As for the body yeah sum minor rust in the roof and a few little spots of paint that need a touch up but other than that i was definitly happy to pay 500 buckeroos for it, haha the guy had even put up plush zebra skin print for the roof lining, pimpin for sure haha, pics to come when i have both light and time

oh god gonna have to do something about the 3k coz its lettin me down, but its gota be cheap haha

 

Oh so much has changed since.....

More pics please. Glad to see her getting used.

 

Should hunt down an old surf board to put on that roof rack.
