gt88 Posted October 4, 2008 Report Posted October 4, 2008 Ive got a '97 Corolla and when you first turn on the car after several hours, no matter the weather, when you put it either in D or R the car jerks forward a bit. But if you turn it on about a hour or so later its fine. It just happens if you haven't turned the car on for about 5+ hours. Any ideas what the problem is? Quote

Trev Posted October 4, 2008 Report Posted October 4, 2008 Yes and no, At really high rpm's you can shatter the torque converter drive dog, I wouldnt be worried at <1500rpm. Quote
