hi ,

 

am just wondering what is an easy replacement fit for a ke10 brake master cylinder. i have heard of a mazda one being a close fit. preferably want to fit a twin port master cylinder . Can anybody who has done this give me some tips. i don't want to modify the firewall too much .

try A.T.A.P (australian truck and auto parts) i work for a company thats does air brqake systems for trucks and we deal with these guys alot , they do alot of car brake stuff

you can just get your master cylinders honed and rekitted. i just got mine done for a ke11 and it cost me 80 bucks to get all four done and the shoes rebonded. that was the best option i could find.

i actually want to know is there a replacement fit from another model or something similiar that will fit in place of the original one . has anyone used one from a mazda or nissan

Mazda 323 RWD, 13/16" bore, 60mm spacing for the bolt holes, although you might have to enlarge the center hole slightly (I can give you the dia. of the mazda one to compare...). Twin port, remote reservoir. As to be fitted to my 25.

Fitted a 11/16" twin bore early Galant M/C with KE20 proportioning valve into my KE10.

Will have to enlarge the firewall hole but does the job very well.

yeah thats the one i bought the other day mate, am currently fitting it . have dsone the brass nipple and nearly finished enlarging the hole. Did u slot the holes in the master cylinder or did u adjust the mounting holes on the firewall
