hey every one my brother in law is helping me rebuild a 4k and he want me to find out all the torque setting for every thing

were the pistons should be

every thing , timing etc

 

as i do not no the question can you run threw the steps that i need to take to put my engine back together

 

4K, 3k bigport head, twin SU's carbs, extracters

might be best to buy a repair manual if you want to find out the torque settings etc etc. I'm pretty sure if you go into anyone of the many spare parts places like super cheap, repco, sprints, or the like, I'm fairly sure you will be able to either buy one or order one.

 

if that fails you can always try you local library and do a shite load of photocopying. :wink:

i just looked all i could find is a Toyota corona manual i need 4k corolla 1

Most part stores will be able to get one for you if you ask. Sprints ordered mine from their warehouse because it isn't a common sale in that particular store.

ok how much did it cost?

No idea, didn't end up getting it and borrowed my neighbours instead. Shouldn't be too bad though. I know the normal Gregory's was $48 or something.

i need the valve clearances for my 4k and the head torque settings can any 1 please help

Either buy a manual (Gregories is reasonable) or do some research. It's not that hard.
