JapTastic Posted May 18, 2005 Report Posted May 18, 2005 Yep, still in for a skidpan day. No idea what car I'll take but it'll have bells on. Quote
Teddy Posted June 7, 2005 Author Report Posted June 7, 2005 i have been waiting on Ted to get backto me... i actually sent him another email yesterday.. I'm still yet to here from him - must be buisy.. Â :) Quote
demuire Posted June 16, 2005 Report Posted June 16, 2005 I feel the urge. Let's stop talking, and start doing something about this! :P Quote
demuire Posted June 16, 2005 Report Posted June 16, 2005 Do you need help organising the dates etc? I do work for Sideline :P Quote
demuire Posted June 17, 2005 Report Posted June 17, 2005 When do you want to have the skidpan day? Rough dates? Would help. Â Also, if any of you who are thinking of coming are getting some exhaust work done between now and then, *please please* consider getting a quieter system put on. I can honestly tell you up front now that some of you will have issues with noise. The new noise restrictions imposed on the center are quite strict, and if deemed too loud, you won't be allowed to run. I run the pan in 3rd gear because my car is too loud. We had a GTiR on the pan the other day, he put a silencer in his exhaust (one of those bolt on tips), and we still had to insist that he stay below 5000RPM... Quote
demuire Posted June 17, 2005 Report Posted June 17, 2005 I have spoken to Ted, he's trying to get some dates from the center. Basically we can only run a day time session. Â If anyone's interested, there is also going to be a full day driver training session (skidpan + lvma) happening sometime (dates pending), and also a full day ladies day happening (again dates pending). I would HIGHLY recommend these to anyone who's looking to improve their driving, and have a bit of fun. Quote
demuire Posted June 17, 2005 Report Posted June 17, 2005 (edited) This includes anyone and everyone who drives. Whether you are a noob driver, a grandpa driver, a weekend warrior, someone who wants to get into motorsport, or an old geezer, doesn't matter. There are always skills to be learnt, talents to be refined. I still learn heaps everytime I go, and I'm meant to be an instructor :P Edited June 17, 2005 by demuire Quote
