i've read somewhere that in the first video the driver of the ferrari survived 90 seconds in that blaze....he then sued the organisers of the race for letting the race go ahead in the conditions...not sure of the extent of his injuries.

the thing that pisses me off is that the guy with the fire exitingusher in the last part of the video is seen putting out the fire on the ground.....while 30 metres away there is someone burning alive.

Ahh thats right. I read a snippet of that somewhere but i couldnt recall it. Thanks.

Thank god for fire suits.

What amazed me, was how the explosion happened almost instantly. I thought most cars had to have safe fuel tanks to prevent this. Then again, it was a huge crash.

All of these people need to undertake a defensive driving course. How long did some of these people have the wheels locked up for? Half of these impacts could have been avoided.
