hey

 

just got sum twin 40 dellortos on my ke30 and they got trumpets with socks on them but there isnt enough airflow around the filters and it seems to be suffocating it a bit just wondering what others use and had good results with? been looking at pipercross big single filters but there expensive and don't wana go spend big dollars if its nt gonna work

You'll struggle getting pipercross filters in there, due to the strut tower.

 

I've used Uni-filter sandwich type filters to good effect previously.

K+N gauze filters. Fits in fine in a KE70. I think they are about 60mm tall, but I can measure when I get home.

yea I'm pretty sure they would fit in alryt, look the goods too

Those Pipercross units are good looking bits of gear. I'm going to call them and see what they reckon. 40mm should do me in the KE10.

 

I was going to run a Unifilter, but If the costs are similar I might change.
