springersrolla Posted February 10, 2009 Report Share Posted February 10, 2009 Can i run a 4k head on a 3k block, is it worth it apart from better valve stem seals, newer, i will recondition it, as i was planing to do to my 3k head, but it seems more logical to recondition a part and keep the car running till its ready to put on. altezzaclub Posted February 10, 2009 Report Share Posted February 10, 2009 You could skim the 4k head to up the compression to match the 3k, but you would need to know the volume of both combustion chambers.
