that plumbing is interesting though, not being round..

shape doesn't matter too much. a square port can flow very well as long as the verticies are rounded to prevent the air slowing down and breaking away from the main flow path in the corners

 

the ports on big block V8s are square, so they're definately not crap. actually' it's a good way of maximising port area when you can't go any big rouder, or want to squeeze alot of flow into a small area (k motor exhaust port)

that intake pipe "could" be off a nissan Patrol Turbo diesel......looks the same shape and diameter......

The Owner is a friend and the car recently won a car show here! (I believe the pix were taken from the car show)

 

Its got TOMS igeta wheels 7.5in. 175/50 13 pirelli P7f

of course as you can see, a 3tc turbo and a webber 50.
