Back OT, id go for something that looks stock, as mentioned above older car owners don't usually have full custom plates.

R & S series plates are available for any car of any period. So SLO xxx or SLY xxx or RAD xxx are all goers for about $75

custom number plates are too expensive IMO

standard plates are better

 

 

just chuck a couple of bowls hats and a box of tissues and maybe an umbrella on your parcel tray if you want to look like an old person
