JRADSTRX Posted April 12, 2009 Author Report Posted April 12, 2009 well there you go.. looks like I'm goin to have some fun.. :D
Redwarf Posted April 12, 2009 Report Posted April 12, 2009 (edited) so your sayin that if i do all that suspension stuff it wont b able to drift at all.. gee, ive seen stock ones drift with all that, and jst a 4k.. if u read.. I'm looking for a way to get out on the track before i get a engine upgrade.. don't just barge in and so its all completely pointless unless youve read what i hav already wrote.. No, I have read what you wrote. You asked for an opinion, I gave it. If you don't want others advice, don't ask for it. By all means go to the track, but don't expect a stockish 4K and driveline to put up with the punishment that you are planning to deal out. All well and good to do suspension mods, but when the diff/ axle/ tailshaft/ gearbox goes when you get to corner 3, don't come whining your sorry arse off back here. Edited April 12, 2009 by Redwarf
JRADSTRX Posted April 12, 2009 Author Report Posted April 12, 2009 but then youve seen the topic about that others guys ke70 with 4k thats been thrashed for a hole day of drifting and it hasnt given up on him.. i will not b a tipical drifter that doesnt do maintence, i will do alot of it.. so there.. and i didnt ask for an opinion, i asked how hard it would b to drift a stock 4k.. topic finished, done, ive got all the info i needed
trikzlane Posted April 12, 2009 Report Posted April 12, 2009 just adding i have a std 4k with extractors and no locker i i can drift it ok , the best advise is to get some stockos and pump them to 60PSI i know its heaps but it works. Mereki.

Great, one bloke has done it, all power to him. At a guess he's taken a healthy dip into the talent bucket as well. Obviously you'll be able to replicate it. All that I'm saying is tha if you want to do it properly, you may need to take other things into consideration. Once again, don't get up me because I'm telling you something you don't want to hear.
