LukeAE71 Posted April 28, 2009 Report Posted April 28, 2009 Ok so I am a bit stumped over what will turn out to be a simple answer for someone on here. What size leads do I need for Silvertop 20V. Thickness etc? I enquired at an auto shop and they only gave me the no. for a direct replacement and these will be too short for my application. This is to be run in an AE71 with aftermarket ECU, Bosch Coils (individuals) etc. They need to be longer than stock. Can anyone help? Thanks Luke Quote
Hiro Protagonist Posted April 29, 2009 Report Posted April 29, 2009 Just take a lead off, walk into store and compare to the ones on the shelf. Thats what I did when I needed a coil-lead for the AE82 (doesn't use the stock coil) Quote
LittleRedSpirit Posted April 29, 2009 Report Posted April 29, 2009 When Beerhead did his 20v with coilpacks he paid about 100 bucks to have a perfectly suited set of leads made. Quote

I spoke to someone yesterday who said they can make me some with the appropriate covers on the plug end and the right length etc but at the moment I am looking for a very cheap solution and just need to know the thickness of them. You are never going to believe it but my thermostat fitting from a certain place finally arrived today :P Quote
LukeAE71 Posted April 29, 2009 Author Report Posted April 29, 2009 Problem solved by automotive shop - I need 8mm leads :P Quote
