I was poking around the wrecking yard today and came across a 87 or so toyota van with a 3y engine. What shocked me was it looked an awful lot like my 3k..... are they related or am I just imagining this. if these are related I'm thinking swap mmmmmmm 2 litres........

No relation, just similar age and similar technology - most pushrod non-crossflow inline 4s will look similar.

Put a 2.3L pinto in it. Should be easy to find over there.
