How can u tel if you have a 3k bigport head without tacking the head of the engine??

I'm going to assume your engrish means "without taking the head off the engine".

 

Check the rear of the head for a welsh plug instead of a plate with 4 bolts.

Yeah, bigports have a welch plug at the back of the head and non-bigports have a removeable plate. :y: :bash:

Or you could always just remove the inlet manifold to inspect the ports!

Looking at the under side of the head wouldn't tell you anything anyway.

i found this number on it 24010162, what does that mean?

The 24010 part tells me it is a 3k bigport.
