yeah the chrome strip is there but unfortunately it got painted over. :)

If you want it chrome again, you should be able to take it off and strip the paint off, and it will still be chrome.

 

I have a perfectly good one of those that I just threw away too, bugger

I'm after a perfectly good one of those... but I think I might save me the hassle and not run a strip at all, I think that perhaps would look ok.
